Question WORD Help -Indenting a paragraph

So I am writing a standard letter but want to Indent para 3 so it stands out a bit more to the reader.

But I want to reduce the margins on both left and right hand sides of para.

If I highlight and hit TAB then para moves to right but I want to change to right hand side as well.

I know there is a quick way of doing this and would like to avoid the TEXT box route which I seem to mess up.

Anyone help please?

Thanks, David

I'd look at turning on the Ruler (on the View menu) and then adjusting the right hand width on the ruler - for the section you wish to highlight

Depends on your version of Word.

If you are on word 2013 - place the cursor where you want the indent to begin, or highlight the text if you have already typed it.

Select the "page layout" menu on the menubar.

You will see a "Indent" option on the ribbon - set the parameters you want in boxes labelled "before" and "After".

If you want I can send you a document already formatted where you can copy and paste your text, pm your email address.
