All devices connect to my Internet bar my laptop??
All the devices in my house can connect to the router Other than my laptop.
It was running fine until it decided to give me limited connectivity.
I took it to work yesterday and it connected fine as usual.
I rolled back the driver update for the network card which made no effect.
I will ring Virgin in a minute but thought I might get more help here than asking someone reading a script from a screen.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Tried the forgetting network before, and just disabled the adaptor and re-enabled too no avail.
Spent an hour on the phone to Virgin, he was nice enough to ring me back after half an hour. But he wasn't too sure in the end.
He said he'd spoken to his 2nd line support and they are going to send me out a network card. (Can't see that Virgin will do this?!) I agreed at the time as I was pretty bored and not really thinking straight.
I can't see it being the network card anyway if it works at my work without a problem.
I have tried different software, not just google to get on my home network.

how many devices are connected simultaneously? could your DHCP Scope be out of addresses? you would get a conection to the router, but not be leased an IP Address. There is usually a parameter in your routers config that will enable you to change this.
Test it by manually setting the ip address on your laptop to valid address within the scope.

Set a static ip and see if it connects....don't rely on web pages to guide you get something to try sign in like steam or Skype etc....
Also does it connect to your phone hotspot take virgins super hub out of the equation..

Can you connect via a ethernet cable?
I had a problem with my BT Hub 5. I had to turn the sync off between the 2.4ghz and 5ghz so I could see 2 SSIDs amd could connect straight away to the 5ghz frequency

Will have a look into guest network ssid...No idea what it is yet though!
I can connect via ethernet, not a problem. So are you saying turn off the 2g option?
Not thought about a phone hotspot. Will look into this too...
Thanks for all the input...I'll report back when I've got the time to go through it all.

Your laptop won't pick up the 5g SSID if it has an older wifi adapter, just stick with the 2g.
The Superhub can be temperamental at times, have you tried unplugging and reconnecting the power to the router?
The default setting for DHCP addresses on the router is 253, so I wouldn't touch any of the DHCP settings (unless you've got 200+ devices on your network?!)
If a reboot doesn't work, open the command prompt and type in 'ipconfig' (without quotes) and post the results...

I suspect a layer 3 IP related problem on the network settings -
"Limited connectivity" suggest layer 2 connectivity has been established, ruling out encryption, SSID, GHZ and the like
Check what IP address the connection has, if a 169.x.x.x then probably DHCP
Ping your default gateway, then ping 4.2.2.2
