Has anyone put their one in the cupboard yet?
Would probably get just a basic unit with Halo, think Dixons were doing it for £235, also like the sound of the Dave Mirra BMX anyone tried it?

Amped, although shoved to the back of the pile a couple of weeks ago got a good few hours this weekend. It's not the easiest of games to control but has a lot of depth. The soundtrack alone is worth leaving the machine on for.
Dave Mirra on the PS2 is a good enough game, lots of great terrain and addictive challenges. You get at least one new level on the box.

Project Gotham Racing is still in the cupboard/floor. Maybe it's because I wear glasses, maybe it's because I'm colour blind, but I just can't play it. It messes with my eyes.

I got the x-box yesterday
Got it with Halo, Dave Mirra 2, and Wreckless, all for £275
The BMX game is superb, not so sure about Wreckless though, not really what I thought it would be...maybe it'll get better as i play it more.
As for Halo, what a game!, I'm well and truely stuck already though

Project Gotham Racing is good fun but the Kudos display on the screen has the habit of blocking your view of a corners apex which is annoying. Play this one at least once a week when my mates come over and still have a laugh. Need more cars though as only got as far as the Focus Cosworth, no cheats available to unlock all the cars either.
Amped, just can't get the hang of it. Gathers dust in the corner and is not as instantly playable as SSX on the PS2. Disappointing.
Halo is wicked. However, I blew the final sequence and was so wound up by the end that I haven't played it for about three weeks now. One day soon I'll return and finish what I begun.
Bloodwake is ok but a little one dimensional. Good for deathmatch though.
Ordered Jedi Starfighter from play.com for 37.99 yesterday which I'm looking forward to. Shame it isn't a ported version of Rogue Leader on the Nintendo though.
Waiting patiently for Buffy now.
Also waiting for my Rallysport and Abe's game to come with a free controller from Microsoft, as a thank you for paying top dollar for the box back in March. I would have preferred one hundred quid back instead.

Stil play mine every day.
I got it the day after Microsoft dropped the price in a cracking deal at a Virgin store.
Deal was supposed to be Xbox & 2 games of your choice for £259.
I was kinda suspicious when the guy put another controller in the bag, then look confused as to why the price was £289.
He then wrote a chitty, took the £30 off, and hey presto, free controller
I have 6 games, MotoGP, Halo, PGR, DOA3, Amped and Rallysport, non of which I paid full price for (preowned )
Add in the advanced SCART lead for that 5.1 Dolby output to the Amp and a RGB signal to my widescreen telly and it's the bomb!
Even though I've completed Halo, PGR, and DOA3 I love showing them off to my mates.
Everyone I know who bought a PS2 has now sold it and either got an Xbox or a Gamecube (even though launch titles for gamecube are very sucky)
Peace, out!
