Never use the search button, I know I should, but I'm on my phone. So which one then?

Whichever one suits you best. There is no right or wrong answer.
I chose an Xbox One as I already had a 360, live account and the fact that there are no decent racing simulation games on the PS4. In fact, the only decent sim on the Xbox One is Forza 5.

I was always a PS fan, I only changed to Xbox due to price, at the time the Xbox came with three games of my own choice and an extra controller, the PS3 came with one game and only one controller and it was more money. Now I just want the better console, but still at the right price.

Depends what your mates are on i guess, i still own my 360 with Live account so it made sense to go down the Xbox One route.

XBox One seems to have drive issues (game discs only)....mine has and it's less than a year old.
imo neither console is actually worth the money as they are just full of bloody sequels although I do like having a Blu Ray player now.

Hi DB
Right I have both consoles ps4 and Xbox one
Xbox one has better updates will explain my ps4 issues later bud.
Xbox live has always been better IMHO
halo is amazing and they have just been remastered and all four of them on a
Single disc " halo master chief collection " just got released for Xbox one also dead rising 3 is ace for some mass carnage
Control pad for me is better but bigger heavier console itself.
Ps4 updates are fooking shocking
I updated mines and it started turning itself off at random and going Into sleep mode
Then would go Into safe mode and would not start.
Eventually would not even turn on because of the pi$$ poor update
Managed to get it working again and installed the update to sort that out
And working again until Sony takes out the next update LOL
ps4 is excellent when it's working but I would say go for the xbox one
It's just a hell of a lot more stable

I fell out with the Xbox 360 because of forza when they released forza 5, the dlc was shocking and very clever to make continuous amount of money when they wanted (I only strictly played the 1 game and it's why I bought Xbox).
Now when they released forza 5, it meant I had to buy another console for just 1 game! I thought sod it, I'm done.
I have a lot of time to do other things now as you couldn't just play it for 20 mins or so due to lobby crashes etc etc. you needed a few hours to have the best experience imo.
Now do I get another?
Op it all depends what you want to play, but for me the ps4 has nothing for me.

FWIW I went 360 to PS4.
Don't regret it.
Only think I would say is there is talk of a PS4 and Xbox refresh coming...
I expect MS will up the VRAM on the 'box.
So might be worth waiting to see what happens in the new year?
If not, then I would just advise which you think suits you best.
They are still early into their life cycle and my own gut feeling is the PS4 is the better all round product for a stand alone games console... but it depends what you use it for. I only use mine for games.

I'm not going to say it definitely won't happen, as stranger things have in the past, but I would be extremely surprised if it did; a refresh, especially this early into the cycle, would cause the very fragmentation in the console market that consoles are meant to be all about avoiding.

I'm holding out for Gran Turismo 7 to be the killer PS4 game, hopefully it will be well worth the wait. In the meantime I'll make do with Driveclub and getting my **** kicked on COD.

Driveclub has had mixed reviews, but has been recently patched improving a lot of things that was wrong when initially released. I'm happy to make do until GT7 comes out. I last played GT on the PS2 with GT4, you could tweak and upgrade parts and all the settings on a car.

Personally, I prefer Forza. More realistic handing characteristics than GT.
Making buyers wait nearly 3 years for a signature racing game is costing Sony many potential buyers in my opinion.

whats pissed me off about forza 5 was the total lack of content and cars you had to DLC for that was in forza 4. i got rid of it as boredom set in quite quick.
it was rushed to go with release day
