Not really being into this kind of stuff, I assumed there would just be 1 DS. There's loads of the bloody things.
It's for my daughter, nearly 6. Help.

Not much good Hodgy if the child has asked Santa for a DS though!
Get the 3DS XL, the extra screen size makes them so much better than a regular 3ds or 2ds.
Also you can turn off the 3d in settings and lock it off if it's a worry over eye strain etc at such a young age.
Just to clear up on the various models only the 3DS, 2DS and 3DS XL are the current models, any others such as DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL are all old models that don't play the current crop of games and only play the old non 3D titles. However the new models will play the old titles and are backward compatible.
My 3 have 3DS XLs and so do I (just so I can play 4 player Mario Kart 7 with them - you only need one copy of the game if it supports game sharing).

i had a test and its really good!
2ds will play 3ds but not in 3d which is prob better for younger eyes as there was some issues when they launched it

Not normally a fan of these gaming things but this has been a exception for me.
