Default Backup Storage Device with FTP

Hi,

I need to get a storage device to backup CCTV images from a remote system. The CCTV system only supports FTP, so need that capability. Storage wise, 500Meg will do. As it will be sat on a book shelf at home; as cheap to run and quiet would also be a bonus.

So if you can recommend something, please let me know.

Thanks

-

Why not use some online backup service?
They have failover protection, if your device f***s up, you'll lose everything

Er - 'cos they are quiet?

I put a little NAS together for home use. USB enclosure with RAID1 for 2x SSD attached to a Wifi extender (with USB socket). Doesn't make any noise at all

Got a ZyXEL NSA210 in the end. Seems to be doing the job.
