Vista help re USB ports

Default Vista help re USB ports

Just installed vista on a old pc, everything seems
to work fine except the USB ports.

Any ideas?

Think I am sorted, believe or not by disconnecting
the power completely then reconnecting.

That sounds like a PSU problem in the PC, so the issue may come back unfortunately. They are easy to replace though.

Why would put vista on a pc ? Be kind to it - and save yourself a load of hassle and put win 7 on it

I tried win7 but it wouldn't install at all and I couldn't be
bothered trying to figure it out.

All sorted now, everything working fine.
