New Apple Mac Pro
Just bought a new Apple Mac Pro lap top and just wondering if I need to purchase anti virus software to protect it.
Ive always had windows pc,s in the past and Apple is new to me, I really like the Apple software so much I am even considering replacing my desktop with a Mac also now in the near future.
I have been advised that anti virus software is not required with Apple products, is this true and if not I would be interested to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

I don't run any, the mac has built in protection and I'm somewhat careful. The last time I used Sophos on my mac it only found problems in my email spam folder that affected windows machines. Entirely up to you.
