Default any applience repairmen or electronics suppliers on here ?

my microwave has stopped heating anything up (turntable and light still operates) so i opened it up and there is a blown fuse inside. I am trying to get a replacement just to give it a try , but its proving difficult to get one that i need. There are ones on Ebay from hongkong/china that i dont want to wait for delivery and theres ones on Amazon that only qualify as "add on items" some dumbass thing that means i have to order £10 worth of qualifying items . Maplins had never seen one before and were no help.

i need a 5kv 650mA (0.65amp) microwave fuse.

can anyone get me one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5pcs-0-65A...item485f3b7953

Has the fuse blown ie gone black inside or has it just broken?

You might need to find out why it failed. Was the microwave actually running when it failed or when you started the microwave?

I may have a spare fuse but I will need to check my parts bin from my television repair days

No 650ma - but you could try a 700/750

It looks broken , I am an electrician and realise it may be a fault causing a problem but would take a chance that its maybe just the fuse itself. If you spy one let me know , thanks

Seen those , can also get a 600mA but I'd rather it be the correct ampage but for whatever reason the 650mA seem to be hard to get.
