Default Help a newby to scooby ---Service parts and upgrades !

Hello all. loving the pics of peeps cars here

I have impreza 2.0 turbo, year 2000. Its totally standard with full history so clean and tight. I know nothing about these cars either !

I wanna know whats the best oil, plugs, fuel filter.
Best Air filter i take it would be a K&N ?? and also how easy is it and is it worth upgrading the intercooler to start with or any other power boosting gizmo's that aint gonna break the bank or engine !

Lastly, whats these re-maps like ? are they good, do they do any harm, do i have to tune the car more often because of them and how expensive are they ?

Where can i get all this in the Sunderland / Durham kinda area ??

Many thanks folks

For all your servicing parts I'd contact alyn@asperformance
0191 410 3770

Top bloke who will also give you the advise you need re what plans you have for power, maintenance etc

Any performance related modification will require a re map unsure how it works for your year car but again this will increase both performance and power. Sure someone else will be along to help
