Shampoo wont give the same affect as a foam if used in the lance, the foam and lance are used as a pre wash

I would recommend the AD lance and their magifoam

Have a look at the groupbuy on the Autobrite foam lance and snow foam mate.

Magifoam works great.

As an alternative you could try the new iron x snow foam. I have just got some and its supposed to remove iron particles during the pre wash if used neat.

Have to be careful with the Iron X snow foam. If not diluted correctly It's not LSP safe

Lsp is last step product or protection iirc. If im correct boyd means that used neat iron x is quite corrosive. I intend to use it neat to remove iron residue as part of my full regime but I think if you dilute it down it wouldlessen the amount of iron removal but work as a regular snow foam.

As Tim says. With a full detail you'd use neat Iron X to remove iron particles from your paint before claying and polishing.

Iron X snow foam is good stuff but I personally prefer to use Autobrite Magifoam then only use contaminant removal products as and when they are needed. Otherwise you need to be rewaxing and wasting your LSPs more than is healthy for your health and wallet.
