Starting My 1st Detail.
Just ordered a Machine Polisher with all the bits from Germany. I don't think it's a top of the range one but we all have to start somewhere. Should be here by weekend I hope. I take a picture and post it up. My dads going half with us he's into cars and got a Corolla T-Sport. Will have a clean off
Also ordered some Gunk Engine Degreaser, Meguairs deep paint cleaner, wax, polish, shampoo, hot tyre shine, wonder wheels, clay bar etc. Can try out my new Jet Wash n all
Never gone this mad before but it really needs it. Shame I haven't got a car porch or something. I'll wait till its warmer tho to start it.
Looking forward to doing it. Might even loose some weight!

Had a baby boy just over 7 months ago and I haven't touched the car since then. I have to change the Centre Console & Clocks but that's it I haven't it cleaned tho, keep going to the local car wash and let them do it for £5. No excuses I know, they do a great job and use good stuff. I know them
Nobody ever cleans it like yourself tho

Here's a few things I've bought since I last posted up. Cash is abit tight with the little one but I'm getting there, slowly. Lol.
I know the Wonder Wheels isn't really great but mine are well in need of a Refurb. When there done i'll get the good stuff. Only £2 anyways! Still some more items to get but got most of the big ones!

With the clay bar it's cheaper to get a cheap bottle of car shampoo and put some in the bottom of a spray bottle and mix with water, works exactly the same as the spray lube and saves you paying £20 odd quid for a clay kit, also you can buy 3 clay bars for between £5 and £10 of certain car cleaning sites, and these will last you more than a year.
I bought 3 a year and a half ago and have used them on 2 cars and still have 1 left, and clay every 4 months.
Just a tip for the future, hope you get the results that your after.

Go very carefully with the polisher if you have never used one before, and start with the finest grade polish and the least aggressive pads; it`s very easy to strip all the clearcoat with a 1400W rotary. Dual action polishers are much more forgiving; I don`t mean to teach you to suck eggs! Good luck.

Cheers mate. All help and advice is appreciated as ever! I will be nervous doing it don't get me wrong. My mate owns a bodyshop so I might ask him for a 30min lesson. The only polish I have is the Meguairs one in the picture. Should be ok with that I think!
Thanks again buddy
