its more the glaze used before sealant/wax that gives the wet look.

ive had black hole on my blue un for a while and its ok, but ive just bought some lime prime to attack it with the DA. Hopefully that'll really give some shine!
Wax won't really add to the shine, its the polishing/glazing/cleaning that will.

Red mist is an amazing product, it's like a sealant Deatail spray that will give you the just waxed look and give a lot if extra protection all you have to remember is not to apply it on fresh wax as the solvents can degrade the wax so just give it a day before you use it.

Does it last though? I have just bought some Autofinesse wax for £90. Started off looking at the £40 tub then realised that the £60 had double the durability and then the £90 proportionately again plus all the benefits of a better finish, so was worth it.
