Default Which foam lance and foam?

Hi guys

Looking to get one of these, they all look pretty much the same for circa £40/£50 but is there a particular make I should get, have seen Autibright at a resonable price?

Was going to get the one from PB with some Megs but by the time you add on the postage its getting on for £85 so thought I may look elsewhere.

I have seen what looks like the PBliss lance on ebay for about £40 but it could well be a cheap copy.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks

The Autobrite Foam Lance is basically the market leader AFAIK.....a well tried and tested product with a good reputation...

To reduce acrriage costs, I would order the lance by itself then source some Megs Hyperwash locally, as the postage on a 5 litre (well gallon) of hyperwash increases the postage costs vastly...

Obviously, I'll recommend our foam lance kit: the lances are proven pieces of kit and we use them day in, day out.

Our kit comes with Meguiar's Hyper Wash: the key factor with the foams is to note the dilution ratio and work out the cost per litre of solution. Some cheaper foams have a very strong dilution rate (as low as 15:1 water/product) whereas Hyper Wash is 400:1, water/product.

Well I went for the Autobrite one in the end with their Magifoam, used it a few times now and will let the pictures speak for themselves, lets just say I'm very satisfied with the kit!

The kit

Foam on

After 10 minutes

And a quick power wash off

I use the PB lance and Megs hyper wash but to be honest i am not that impressed with the megs stuff so i will change to magnifoam once im done with this. The lance on the other hand is a brilliant piece of kit and can get a really nice thick foam with it

Fancy meeting you over here

...when we doing your 6

Some of my foaming with MF.... shots before and after a rinse, no touching or agitating in these photos, just foamed and rinsed.

Thumbs up to AB Lance and Magifoam... although I have some espuma activo to try now and compare

^^^^^ I think my neighbour was amazed when I told him, that yes, his was meant to be same colour as mine

Yes, Dilute in the Bottle. I use about 200ml in the bottle (about an inch or so in the bottom of the 1L bottle) and top the rest with water.

I then adjust the foam thicness through the **** on top of lance. Almost closed, gives me reall gillete foam, all the way open gives me much thinner foam.

Hope that helps
