Default Baked on brake dust

I'm sure its probably been covered before but my alloys are caked in baked on brake dust and noting i try will shift it.I even tried a meguires aggresive clay bar on it tonight but i just couldnt get into the nooks and crannys of the wheels. Is there a product out there that you can spray on,leave a while and wipe off.I need something that will break all this dust down so its easier to clean

cheers

Have you tied Megs wheel brightener, if not try that or if that fails try something like AG clean wheels or Wonder wheels. Other than that, I have no idea. Perhaps PB could offer some advice.

If the wheels are in reasonable condition use the megs wheel brightener but use a strong mix 50%- 50% this should do the trick

Mistral Alloy Cleaner.....gets the burnt on brake dust and carbon build up shifted off our abused work cars every time.....also removes "bronzing" on badly looked after rims

As Stevo very neatly demonstrates in theh above thread, Meguiars Wheel Brightener would be a very good choice, and offers flexible levels of strength depending on the severity of the problem. More details on this link...
