Default After that real wet look !!

I have been using the Werkstat Acrylic Kit for a little while now,I am pleased with the finish and protection it leaves, but I think i probably made the wrong choice and should have gone with the Werkstat Carnauba Kit because I now really like the wet/mirror finish.
Is there anything I can use with this kit like a different LSP to get the finish im after or an other product altogether.
Oh if it helps the scoob is crystal Grey (dull silver)

You're using the best stuff for your colour. Machine polish (or get it done) to get the best wet look. It's more to do with the prep than the lsp

I do like the finish it gives, the paint looks really deep and conditioned if you know what I mean, but I have seen a few cars finished with Carnauba wax and I think I prefer the look

If want a wet look carnauba wax then how about PS21 or R222 "Concours Look" Carnauba Wax as its known now.
Dead easy to put on and wipe off, only downside is that its not the most durable wax.

Cheers for that Richard, I like the look of the R222.
Does anyone know if I can still use this in with the Werkstat Acrylic
Rich when you say not the most durable wax does it last 5-6 weeks

Nor 100% sure if can use it over an acrylic - try asking on A world for detailers... and the forum - but be prepared to have your wallet emptied of all the stuff will want to buy !

Two coats and should get 5 or 6 weeks out of it but after about 4 weeks I have found that it has lost it sparkle and will re do it

The problem is this situation is that if you top the Werkstat finish with a wax layer, you won't then be able to add more Werkstat layers (because sealants don't bond to waxes very well at all). Instead, you'd have to keep adding wax layers until the time comes round to strip the finish and start over from scratch again. I'd personally suggest switching to the Blackfire Midnight Sun Paste Wax; it will sit well over the Werkstat, deliver the finish you want and is dead easy to apply and buff off.

Thanks PB I do like the sound of that although I do need to save a few more £ before I can place an order as I need a few things now, can I still use a LSP between washes if I use this wax ? if so what would you recommend with the Blackfire Midnight Sun Paste Wax I have nearly used all the werkstat Acrylic Glos so I don't mind changing types, I like the look of the Meguiars Last Touch real value for money there

Err, a wax is an LSP (along with sealants) so I'm slightly confused by what you mean in bold above? Do you mean a spray top up? If so, you have the option of Blackfire's very own Deep Gloss Spray Sealant, or a gloss booster like Meguiars Last Touch (which doesn't add any protection, but does offer fantastic value for money).

I've been using Meguirs 3 stage polishes, and then genarally using their detailer spray after a wash most weeks and have to say that the results are pretty good.

I am now about to order some blackfire products from PB (who have been super helpfull!) as I want to get the wet look and these seem to be about the best out there.
