Default cleaning my p1!

afternoon all, having just looked at the 22b youve cleaned, im amazed!!! top top job

my p1 has swirls in it, but im guessing the only way i can remmove those is with a detail? i.e. not by hand or anything?

ive tried claying my car, polishing then waxed, it comes up ok but you can still see the swirls badly

can you recommend any products to bring it up to a good shine please? i currently use, megs gold class shampoo, autoglym srp, autoglym hd wax, but if you can recommend some better products id be happy to hear

oh and i think the p1 is the same colour as the 22b, sonic blue i believe.

thanks
simon

Hi,
Check the links in the top of this section, you can remove swirls by hand but it is bloody hard work

Menzerna 203S with a CCS light cut pad and alotta elbow grease will get the swirls out...remove the residue with a poorboys thick and plush towel...sorted

Sorry for the tardy reply; crazy busy couple of weeks and no time to get on. As above; you can make some progress by hand, although do be aware that P1 paint is typically harder than on other Scoobies, so in reality to get a very high level of correction a machine will be required. See here for a general overview of what you can achieve by hand with the right products...

and here for an idea of the type of machine polishing process that would be required...
