Blue Impreza WRX + Light Swirls - Advise please?!
Hi all,
I've recently bought a 2005 wrx in blue. The car isnt too old, but i suspect the previous owner was Captain Sponge cos its got light swirling over most of it under the sun!
I have a G220 but havent really used it with anything other than SRP... I been looking at polishes... Whats the Chem Guys Scratch & Swirl Buff Polish like? - Is there a better polish for light swirling / spider webs?
What sort of speed settings should I polish / buff with it? how much should I put on a pad? how big an area should I work on?
Cheers for tips guys - cant wait to restore paint to perfection!

This is one method that has been put to good use by many ScoobyNet members in the past...

...but with the recent release of a brand new mid level Menzerna polish (203S), the following is also highly relevant too (and cuts out a step)...
Car Care Advice - Frequently asked questions about car care products and techniques
Your questions about the size of the work area and amount of polish to use are all addressed in the first link above, but given your words on the paint condition, I would opt for the advice in the second link in order to actually correct the defects (i.e. single stage process using Menzerna 203S on Lake Country CCS Polishing Pads).
