Jeffs range on Tonic blue? yes thats Tonic blue
just traded in the wifes pug used to use blackfire range on that
I got her a nice little ford fiesta in tonic blue (looks a bit like WR1 colour)
(not hers in the pic but same car/colour)
I was looking at the Werkstat Acrylic Kit - Werkstat Car Care and Detailing Products
What do you think?
Also I have a porta cable so the car will have the full swirl removel beforehand also can the jeffs be applied by PC or is it hand only?

Ive got almost a full bottle as I use it on my wheels and door shuts etc - I placed the order last night I could do with using another make of cutting and polishing pad as the LC ones are rubbish IMO and seem to rip the backing off the pad no matter how carefull you are
my original ones I got from the state are still going strong now and they have done like 8 cars not sure what make they are

the LC pads - are you washing them in hot water? i found that anything above warm melts the glue. I've used the megs soft buff ones on the pc and been very happy with them. I now use the 3m ones as i'm mainly on the rotary all the time. didn't really have a choice about moving to rotary seeing as some thieving scumbag nicked my pc out of the car. ok so i shouldn;t have left it in the boot but they shouldn't have nicked it!
mmmm pads from the states may be sonus or could be megs. stick a pic up. 8 cars is that all

lol when I was in tampa I went to the place Ric goes they thought I was him my PC cost me £60 3 years ago also got loads of blackfire and Menzerna gear cheap as hell too - no there not sonus pads will see If I can track the website down - no I hand wash is luke warm water only - this happens from new to the backing starts to come off pads also seem hard to me (orange cut pad)
I wanted to get the 3m pads but there out of stock
Was a bit silly to leave that in your boot

Think I answered the Prime question by e-mail, but in short, Prime Acrylic is best for bodywork as it goes on and off easier and is more than up to the job as it's going to be topped by Acrylic Jett Trigger anyway. You can use Prime Strong on bodywork, but it is harder to work with.
Some batches of the Lake Country CCS Pads are occasionally prone to the problem mentioned (velcro delamination), but this is a manufacturing fault, and if you return such pads to me I'll issue brand new replacements FOC. In terms of polishing performance, they are excellent pads.

The postie and the courier have now been today, and I have a customer to collect from Aberdeen shortly - if I get chance I'll whip it down to the post office, but I may struggle, so please don't bank on it.
PS - Just checked it, way too heavy for Post Office, so sorry, it will now ship out on Monday 5th Jan.

No probs Rich. Wonder why it's a bit heavy . I've got one or 2 bits that i can do. Like finish off sorting the roof and taking all the interior out so i can remove the carpet to give it a good wet clean and maybe re dye it.
Have a good Christmas and New Year.

doh 3 m back in stock just my luck
goods came very quick again
I will do the usual corrective stages then give it a once over with the prime strong on a white polishing pad then should I apply the trigger by black soft glazing pad or apply by hand using a German applicator pad?
the prime strong is great for renewing the black bits on scooby doors where the window is - it comes up brand new using the PC

These days, I prefer to apply Trigger by spraying it on directly using the mist sprayhead setting, then immediately buff it in to the finish with a plush towel until it's all gone. Sort of one continuous additive motion if you follow. This is also a nice way to work when trying to get 2-3 coats on in quick succession.
