i bought a gilmour foam gun
as above its a brilliant tool, ive heard i can put my gold class through it but it seems a little thick to be used to go through a gun do i have to dilute the shampoo in the cup for a better result? if so what kind of ratio is advised? thanks for any feedback guys.

thanks very much for that info Tony,i though id have to dilute as i tried with neat shampoo & didnt get much of an effect. I also got a free bottle of elite snow foam & i smells just like the tfr we use at work. Is that what it is? if so i dont really want to use it on my beautiful waxed & flawless paintwork.

HD Foam Lance - Polished Bliss Car Care and Detailing Products
and some snow foam wash or some good shampoo 1inch at bottom topped up with warm water. Thats if youve got a karcher power washer you'll get results like this :

Onto the hand washing element of the process. Next it is time to get the buckets out and wash as normal.
Dammit! As I'm lazy I thought this foam lark would cancel out the need for me to break a sweat washing the car by hand with buckets! lol.
Great site though I've saved it to favourites
Cheers Minty n Chris 's all round

lol ta...I knew I should of at least ivested in a washmitt though as I hate using sponges, mitts are better plus don't break apart during washing the grilles and other sharp parts on the car

It all depends how you look after them and the amount you spend on them.
The ones in halfords (lambswool) are pretty good but if left to dry out can start to molt
The more expensive ones (meguiars) last a little longer but suffer from molting as well.
You will find that they dont break up on the sharp edges, but they do sometimes leave little fluffs behind. Think of those barbed wire fences where the sheep are and you get the picture

Yeah I worked for a farmer for a while and for some reason wool stuck on fences used to really infuriate me! strange....lol. Think I shall go for a Meguiars one, a shop round here sells nearly all of their products so very handy
