Motorbike Cleaning
Any of you guys had any experience with cleaning motorbikes? You can buy specialist cleaners but was just wondering if I would be able to use my car cleaning kit (mostly Megs detailing range - SD, APC etc.)?

Alright Colin,
Personally used meg's SD for around the rear sprocket, this tended to be the worst area on my bike but it's good at shifting large grease build up anywhere really. Just don't go too daft with it around the wheel bearings. WB worked a treat aswell at removing excess chain lube from the rear wheel. Tbh anything that you can use on a car can be used on a bike. Even threw the g220 at it; tank and plastics came up great A wee tip is to buy some 'motorcycle protectant' for it. Can't remember the make, but halfords stock it. It comes in a black tin with pink writing. It's basically a wd40 substitute but you can go daft with this stuff on exposed workings ie underneath the tank, the shocker etc. Goes without saying stay away from calipers, discs and tyres
