22B Valet
Been and done Steve Jacksons 22B today. I've decided after spending the day valeting his I want one now, its gonna be my next car. They're not the fasted but by Christ are they the best looking!
Before wash...
Plenty of wax on it already...and I've got to clay bar it as well...
After the wash (Zymol Auto Shampoo - 2 Bucket and wash mitt)
After the clay bar (Meguiars Quik Clay System) - This took the longest time, the car was bad, just time consuming, the flecks in the metallic paint really came through though.
Yes I got on the ground to polish the exhaust...
Then as usual the clouds came and it started raining so I had to push it back into the garage so I could wax it and do the finishing touches.
Like Cleaning the wheels and Tyre trimming (Meguiars Hot Rims & Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel)
As well as Cleaning and hoovering the interior, bit pointless really as its mint anyway.
Polished the Metal step sill trim
Meguiars NXT Tech Wax - Best on Metallics, expecially dark Met Blue.
And the Finished result, yeah this blatant photo Whoring but its just so nice!
We moved it outside to get some sunny pics
Best Badges of the Best Impreza ever made
Sorry for all the pics but you enjoy.

Great job mate.I have saw some rough 22Bs but that one looks mint. If it was mine I would replace the indicators lenses with the originals. To me a special edition should remain the way it left the factory.

Not my car so I can't comment on the indicators, whereas I agree whole heartedly about the special editions, I'd say giving it white indicators on the front to match the rear ones is ok, gives it a cleaner look.

Yes they are nice to look at. Not as nice to own though, certainly nowhere near worth 10k+ more than a typeR.

Yes it is personal choice. I always wanted one, got one and sold it within several months as I couldn't justify the high price for basically a few cosmetic mods. Performance wise they're virtually identical than to a typeR. The hassle of owning one is not worth the price of looking in your side mirrors and seeing a flared arch.
