Default Blackfire Wet Diamond results

MrsREV has been bugging me about the state of her year old Civic so she made me wash it for her this morning. I didn't have time to do any correction, it's literally had a proper wash (Super Snow Foam pre-wash, 2 bucket method with lambswool mitt and Poorboys suds) and the Wet Diamond on top to keep the salt off until I can do a proper job.

I have to say, the Honda paint is pretty horrible with bad orange peel all over and there were plenty of defects so when I do get to use the PC on it, I'll have my work cut out.

Anyway, I just wanted to post the result of using the Blackfire Wet Diamond. It's awesome stuff, very easy to apply and gives an amazing finish.

And in true Polished Bliss stylee: (check out the orange peel!)

Cool.

Nah, don't do the graveyard shift anymore! Quite the opposite, actually. Well paid jobs now so get to sleep normal hours.

Jeepers, great shine but I can see the defects already... and that's in cloudy conditions! Oh well, the good news is Honda paint is about as soft as it gets, so correcting it will be a piece of cake... just make sure you use the older Menzerna polishes (Intensive Polish and Final Polish II), as the newer ones designed for ultra coat clearcoats (RD3.02, 106FA, 85RD) will be too much for it and will lead to micromarring and too much paint removal.

On my old Type R... I used
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish
Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection
Applied with a German applicator pad
Easy to apply, with great results...

Still use the same stuff on the misses A3 1.8T...
