Black STi4 + Pro-Valeting = :-)

Black STi4 + Pro-Valeting = :-)
For Xmas I bought myself a full valet from Roy at Pro-Valeting. As ever, Roy did a fabulous job, as I think you will agree from the pics.
The car was not too bad beforehand, although I didn't realise it had a red fleck in it! The carbon bonnet was looking a bit milky and slightly yellow, which was putting me right off it. I knew however, that Roy would make it look special. I was still amazed at the finish though and the quality of reflections are amazing!
Sorry I don't know much about the technicalities of all this - I am just very very happy with my shiny car :-) ... Roy cleaned the car 3 or 4 times (with Swisswax Car Bath I believe), he then used a Do Do Juice pre-wax cleaner thing (sorry don't know exact name) and then finished with an all in one protector, waxer, polisher cream (smells like cherries) on a machine polisher. I believe there was then some hand polishing (or waxing) done after that - not sure I was getting ready for a night out ;-)
Like I said, I am just happy with how it looks now, Roy if you are around maybe you could add some better details of the process? Amazingly, Roy hasn't finished yet - he isn't 100% happy with certain areas, including the carbon bonnet, so he is coming back for more in the New Year!
I can thoroughly recommend Roy - he is a hard worker, gets fab results and is also a very nice chap :-)
This is a couple of hours before Roy had fully finished:
Different angle:
Paul's fave toolbox reflected in the side!
Next day in the light - can't believe it is the same bonnet (sorry I forgot to take a before pic):
Now I need to fix my decals to do it all justice!
Thanks for looking all!
Liz

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost ? I'm getting mine detailed in the new year sometime, got to get a few things sorted first (bumper scuff and couple of dings) I've found this chap that'll do it for £215. Where abouts is pro-valeting based the webste is down at the mnute.

I'm gonna get my car detailed in the next couple of months, like BooSH I have a few bits that need sorting first in the bodyshop which should hopefully be this month.
So that price of £215 is for a large car, but I'd class a scoob as a medium car if anything??
Craig at Muddy Detail is supposed to be very very good as well, and he also gives discount for SIDC members.
So come on Liz, don't be shy, tell us what you paid!

I have seen some of the work from Hotwaxxx on detailing world and he does a top job. I did my brothers Scooby in the summer and I was on it for about 10 hours, it is suprising how much needs to be polished. A couple of pics

Obviously depends what you get done, what products need to be used to get the desired finish and so on... a full day of Roys time costs in the region of £250. But best to ring him (phone number is on that link) to discuss your requirements.
