Default Diamondbrite Good or Bad?

Hi All,

Now that I know a sponge is bad...has anyone had their Scooby Diamondbrited?

Does it work? Did you have to do alot of prep work...ie all tar marks, tree sap, dead bugs removed before applied?

Seen some good deals on e-bay, much cheaper than £300 that a dealer would charge!!

Cheers

Don't waste your money, I got this cr@p off someone for free, it ended up in the bin unused. If you need advice on looking after your car call PB, they do it as a profession so know best.

DiamondBrite and all other dealer applied 'long-life' treatments are simply average quality sealant systems... which should cost around the £20-£30 mark. Essentially, such systems are simply mechanisms for dealerships to make much more profit from every sale, so are best avoided at all costs. A much better option is to buy a decent set of products tailored towards your needs (durability, working by hand/machine, etc) and your car's colour (you can make the paint look quite different depending on what you use).
