any tips on cleaning suede

carefully! get a good suede cleaner and a gentle suede brush or terry cloth. don't let it get too wet when you're doing it and allow it to dry naturally. make sure you get all of the cleaner off or it could stain. Suede can be a real pain but look gorgeous as well.
eta - don't scrub at it either. gentle dabbing or work in straight lines, up and down and back and forth. not too much pressure. you'll strech it and end up with odd looking patches if you do.

As above really, we tend to use (dry) gentle brushing first (both the Megs Triple Duty Brush and the Interior Brush are good) followed by careful vacuuming, and only only a very mild APC solution if needs be (to tackle stains, etc). Rubbing is a big no-no, pat application and pay drying using work towels is a must. Main thing is to be gentle and avoid wetting as much as possible, otherwise major damage can be done.
