Default Qiuck (lol) detail & Wheel Wax

managed to get a day off and the weather was nice so thought i would give the car a quick clean, (gave it a full detail about a month ago), and protect the wheels.

started with a good rince:
washed body and glass with lambswool mit, poorboys super suds and the 2 bucket method.
rinced off, then dry using 2 ww towels.

then took off one wheel at a time,
sprayed using sonus rim bright and leave for 5 mions before rinsing off, washed using microfiber wash mit and poorboys super suds
rinsed again and dried usung waffle weave towel.
coat of poorboys wheel sealant, left to haze for a few minutes then buffed off using a micrifiber towel.
then another coat and buffed off again.
finished with a couple of coats of blackfire tyre gel, and cleaned nuts using p21s cleaner.

before

after

before putting wheels back on, gave the arches a good clean, and the brembo callipers a good clean and coat of sealant.

inbetween waiting for each coat of wheel sealant to haze, gave the car a spritz of blackfire deep gloss spray sealent , rubbed in and buffed off using microfiber towels, cleaned all glass using megs glass cleaner, and interior using 303 Aerospace Protectant.

finnished

then this, after going upstairs to change

soon got rid off it with a quick tickle of the karcher...

sorry about the pics, left camera at work so had to use the phone.

cheers chief,
planned on it taking around 3 hours, but in the end took over 6 hours.
best part was nearly drowning the girlfriends cat.

Nice work mate, funny how quick jobs end up going on and on! I'm the same, go outside for an hour, come back in 4-5 later. Wheels look great, as does the paint.
