If you are going to machine polish

Do you really need to Clay the Car?

I will do anyway but if you are removing swirls with polish surely a claying is not required?

yep I would definitely clay the car first in preparation for using the P/C mate

Yes I am going to but I wondered why the polish didn't removed what the clay bar does

Clay removes the toxins and crap from the paint, prior to polish.

Preperation is key.
