I just moved to London with my Subaru STI hippo. First time in the United Kingdom, and planning to settle here for a year or two.
I need to learn about maintenance prices in the UK, where to fix my car, and how to keep it safe. Let's see how different the experience would be compared to Balkans Europe.
Please share helpful links and info that I should know related to services, thefts, rules etc.
But here are things I need to fix ASAP:
1. my steering rack is dying! It is cracking, and my steering pump is screaming now, even in warm weather. Can you recommend Subaru services in or near London? How expensive could the master's work be? Should I purchase parts myself?
2. front brakes need maintenance too
Things I am looking into:
1. How thoroughly car is inspected during Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA)? I have a quiet but modified exhaust.

I am trying to avoid London services at the moment. I have a biased opinion that they prefer Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Rolls Roys, and Porsche clients more. First time I've ever seen so many supercars and luxury cars, and even in Dubai, you won't see so many daily heh. Those prefer supercharged Nissan Patrols

Could not refresh a name yesteday,for suspension setup and work try Carnetix -Melton Mowbray,very good not so common. Tdr has already month waiting list for example.
