Someone key scratched my car :(
Hi guys, yesterday I sadly found out that some f****r scratched my car with a key /front right mudguard and rear right door/... The scratch of the mudguard is very deep as I can put my nail in and the door scratch is not so deep but again very annoying. Do you guys have any ideas of how much it would cost me to repaint these two panels? Aren't there any alternative cheaper methods to fix that as it is driving me crazy whenever I see her

What will happen if I put a complaint in the police for vandalism, however my car is on foreign plates, would they do something?

somebody done that to one of my neighbours cars which is a 64 plate Honda and when they reported it we had the community police around advising people etc what to do as in put them in garages if possible and that sort of thing....so I would tell the police so at least if it goes to an insurance claim you have reported it

Yeah, there's no CCTV on the place so the police couldn't do anything really. My car is on foreign plates and the insurance wouldn't do anything as it is abroad. What if I buy that - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-Pai...item5892f07626 Do you think it will remove the scratch and also is it quite easy to apply it myself, has someone tried that before?

Cant see the pictures so can't see how bad it is... Depends on how far into the paint it has gone. If its down to the metal then you will need a respray unfortunately.
Don't bother with that ebay tat... Go and get a quote from a reputable sprayer first as they may be able to blend in rather than a full panel job depending on where it is.... Then you can decide what you want to do..

You could try getting the paint mixed and then very lightly rub along the scratches with some wet and dry to clear any lose paint flakes then using a fine art brush build up the paint in the grove once that's dry rub down flat with a 2000 grit wet and dry use liquid soap to lubricate the area not water wipe clean and polish with some thing like g3
Its a bit of a long process but it does work and its cheaper than a spray job
