Default Option to turn sigs off doesn't work

I really don't care who thinks they can pull what, using what part of their anatomy - and certainly don't want to be reminded on every single post they make. IMHO it's just the sort of clutter that SN has successfully managed so long and hard to avoid.

So, I've used the option to turn sigs off in my control panel, but it's not working. Could you take a look please guys?

[edit: actually I think they're 'moods', not sigs - but the effect is the same.]

Thanks Andy, we'll sort this out.

With respect, how on earth did you work that out? It's just a signature by another name - nobody at all has used it to actually describe their mood, and even if they did, it's not something I care about enough to want to see it mixed in with the text after every single post. I doubt I'm alone.

To really show a 'mood', how about a grumpy or smiley face in the driver's window of the car icon?

Incidentally, have you tried looking at the site on a PDA lately? Every single individual post now takes up more than a whole screen.

No, your not alone. I`ve just been trying to turn it off too and can`t. Can we not have it so that `mood` can be dissabled along with all the other items I`ve turned off.

OK guys.

No need to get so angry. We'll have a think about this, and discuss it with you in the week, but there really isn't any need to get all shirty. We're not doing this to try to annoy you, so please take it easy.

Like I say. We'll take a look at this in the week, and find a solution that satisfies everyone.

Not 'angry' - we all know that emotions don't necessarily always come across very well in writing. (Imagine instead a mate with a big grin on his face taking the p*ss out of you in a good-humoured kind of way).
