Just an idea, I notice that the textbox in New Thread, Quick reply and Advanced mode Reply are alot narrower than the overall browser window.
Why is this?...the thread width atomatically resizes with the window/screen res. But you still have this tiny narrow textbox to type in.
It's very annoying if you have to type a rather large reply, and is very difficult to review and edit what you have typed as its like looking at the world through a toilet roll!
Here's a few pics to show you what I mean (yes - I have too much time on my hands)

The excuse I probably guess is to accomodate users with low screen resolutions. But seeing minimum this site works with is 800x600 and you STILL have the wasted space. Plus it resizes in proprotion to the browser window width. I can't see why it couldn't be any bigger?
I eagerly await any comments

The reply box is not scalable. It is fixed width. I do believe there is an option of having the reply box as a popup so you can still browse the thread in order to cut and paste quotes etc.
I expect they can tweak the box size, but does it really matter. I think it is aesthetically pleasing to type in a small window as it gives the poster the impression of writing a longer post than they actually are. Except for Muppets of coure.. they only ever type one or at most, three worded replies.

Steady on there about the muppets...remember who you are replying too
Perhaps if the box was taller instead. If you have just speed typed a huge reply it's a right pain in the **** to check the grammar and spelling due to only fitting 6 lines in the box of average 19 words in width.
Being used to typing in word processors for work and formal documents I'm used to seeing everything I type all in one go - my documents are always zoomed so the whole page fits on the screen. Force of habit I suppose
