Over the last few months the BBS has had periods of running like treacle (tonight for example), sometimes coming to a grinding halt. Is it heavy activity killing the poor beast? Is it bandwidth, too many users/forums, server or software?

It is becoming a chore to browse ScoobyNet these days (broadband here by the way) so I usually poke around on I-Club (runs like a rocket) or one of the other much faster BBS's until the beast gets its breath back.

Not what it used to be....

The amount of times i get cannot find server is un-fecking-believable[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Its easily the slowest site i visit.
