Default tig welding

if he ever reads this, many thanks to davis & snell engineering
the man is like a surgeon with a tig welder, opened up my scoobysport back box today, removed all the manky wire wool cleaned out all the holes , and repacked with proper wadding, then welded back up. now i thought i was good with a mig , but wow this bloke can weld and fabricate, its now loads quieter with no loss in boost and in anything a deeper rumble, well chuffed is a understatement, CHEERS STEVE

Did they convert your original cat pipe, cos thought about trying to open the Flange to an open mouth to see what difference it made, if any?

it was a decat pipe , just wasn't full open mouth. it is now and yes it makes a noticable difference on a classic, better throttle responce and quicker spool up

All is good if it's spooling quicker.

Need to get on the pipes mate as early as possible, and make sure you got an air fed on in them environments!

Note they weld material down to 0.1mm thickness! I have seen their work and its beyond amazing. They do pipework for space bound satellites!

In case you were wondering i believe kitchen tin foil is about 0.2mm thick.
That looks pretty trick, bet there is a nack to it.
