Mine goes up when i fill the tank , then down when i drive about ?

But yes , its very vague. 3/4 to 1/4 goes twice as fast as the rest , and the low level warning on mine comes on at a diferent level every time.

When I boot mine the fuel gauge goes down a lot as if its sayin "oh oh this is gunna burn a lot of fuel"

However when I ease off and start driving civil again it goes back up abit

I've read reports of the gauge not registering when you fill up. But i've not heard of it actually fluctuating!

From full, I hit halfway on the gauge at 100 miles, then at 1/4 of a tank left I hit 200 miles.
I do sometimes get 300 before the fuel light comes on, which is accurate with 10 litres left.

The light came on earlier, I got halfway home from work then it went off then came back on a mile or so later then stayed on for 5/6miles after I'd filled up! :\
