turbo now has heat shield/jacket on it and exhaust is heat wrapped i have removed the under tray from under the big scoop so the air has a clearer run at it now. not really anywhere else i could mount it either as have fmic and bigger alloy radiator

Looking good chap, Samco inlet pipe and zero sports hard pipe would finish it off a treat.
Also I'm not sure I'd of mounted the cooler there, is it really needed ? On a track car I can understand it but not really nessasary on a fast road car.

No reason you shouldn't mount an oil cooler there, plenty of airflow on the move assuming you have an STI 8 style scoop. You could help matters further by using the same method I have seen some apply on topmount intercoolers.
Purchase yourself one of these and fit it to the bottom of the oil cooler to draw air through it even when stationary.

Trigger it through the fan relay and it will activate itself when necessary.
They have them in a fair few sizes, so if the one I picked doesn't fit, I'm sure you'll find one that will.
