The golf ball size hail stones just beat my bonnet up. Couple of decent sized dents, but should count myself lucky as some cars in town are covered and quite a few windows gone through.

 

I think mate we need photographic proof ?

 

I'll sort it in a bit as on phone, but sure it will be on the midlands news later.

 

Down south here its nice, sky looks bit angry though

 

Must say I've never seen owt like it. Went from daylight to dark in minutes. My dads car suffered the same fate too. Would of thought most the alu panelled cars are all pretty battered in this area.

 

All the local mobile dent removal firms are rubbing their hands!
Seriously though, I feel for you. It's bad enough when some brainless moron gives you a door ding but try sending big G the bill!

This was the second storm. Not as bad as the first though.

At least it's only a bug, would of been criminal if it was a lovely classic out there

 

Mines safely tucked away in my garage, the wife will have a shock though as her car is used to block the garage door

Hinckley had it bad as well hail stones the size of TENNIS ***** and im not joking!!! my mates mx-5 had one go through w/screen and the canvas roof!!!

Just got back from a Germany/Austria trip and whilst in Fussen there was a severe hailstorm – size of golf ***** which left one or two dents….

So, I ask myself, is it worth the hastle of parking carefully to try to avoid the wan4ers who use your car as a door stop? Not sure if this is covered by insurance yet.

What’s doubly annoying is that the roof was brand new back in January after a plank fell off a lorry coming in the opposite direction.
