Default EJ201 Engines and GF8 confusion

Hi!

How much kW do EJ201 Impreza engines (impreza Wagon GF8) from 1999 produce? I've namely got two contradicting infos, one says 92kW, while the other says 101kW.

Over here it's namely a difference in insurance of over 130 EUR. Not much by UK standards, but our incomes are a LOT smaller.

Also which are GF8 Wagons:
- GX
- or GL?

Thanks

I almost choked on air, lol.

You sure it's 215? It seems a lot for what is supposed to be a non-turbo? The car is advertised as a GL.

Thank god! I think a boulder has just fallen off me.

Stupid Wikipedia, has only the JDM info and not EU too. For JDM it says 137HP (101kw). While everywhere else I found it saying 125HP.

GF8 = code for wagon 94-00 (all classic) as opposed to fc8 = 4door (and I think 2 door) classic.
EDM MY1999 2.0 N/A is 125hp.

Thank you both.

Is there any place online where these specifications are written?

Or are they in the car's documents (the seller of the car I'm just about to buy said they're not in the log book)? I'm going to be needing them for the import process - the agency wants them to calculate the power to weight ratio, needed for registration (I have no idea why that so important though).

When I imported a couple of bikes it was easy.

I just went on www.bikez.com and they had every specification imaginable. With cars I have no idea.
