Default my99/00 mafs cheaper..22680-7J600

right simple really gone all over the net as i need a new maf looking at part numbers etc etc ive seen a few refrences to a nissan almera tdi maf being exaclly the same

the nissan number ref :22680-7J600

definatly looks the same..but isit the same is the question? anyone use this or tryed it any sucess? cheers

Its definately not the same number, both manufacturers use different stock numbers for that part, your best just buying one from subaru or somewhere like AS performance or import car parts, its not that expensive a part (try a new age maf much more expensive).

so many mixed opinions on this...the part numbers are diffrent yes but the insert for them both is the same....as a diffrent nissan maf is also the one used on the subaru sport. there £30 new and maybe worth a stab at that kinda money...ill b getting a gen one also anyway but id like to know for myself once n for all if it works as there isnt much info much info after people saying its the same.

Certainly not worth saving c.70 over the correct one, if the sensor ends up being different and you subsequently goose the engine!

Get that one, and be done with it! Believe me, the 'experiment' won't be worth it.
