Default JDM owners, where do you buy your bits?

Intersted to know who sell JDM stuff in general and is knowledgable about the products?

Service items are generally the same across the range between UK and JDM cars though you do get some differences like spark plugs (6's on UK 2ltrs and 7's on JDM 2 ltrs), but belts, oil filters etc are the same.
All my stuff comes from the dealer, if i need anything different then he orders it from japan, it gets here quicker than doing it through IM

most parts are the same so you can get your parts from traders on here or other reputable subaru parts specialists. i've used importcarparts, saved me loads and got the part to me next day because it was an emergency.

As already said..... there are not many items that your would need imo, that you cannot source from many of the Subaru Specialists that are known within this community.

TBH I've never had any issues with any of my three JDM Scoobs, to require anything that could not be easily sourced from a Subaru Specialist in the UK.

Well I was a customer for three years before getting poached to come work here! I've brought with me my many contacts in Japan too that are able to source rare and funky parts. That's how I was able to get hold of my dual core Sard top mount intercooler, I've yet to see another one in the UK, which is odd because it's an awesome piece of kit.

I have a UK car but I use import car parts, most of the stuff is genuine Subaru and it arrives to me the next day when the dealers along the road from me tell me 3 to 4 days for the same items.

They do performance parts too from the likes of RCM slightly cheaper than they sell the stuff to so work that out lol

Cheers box of toys. I ordered from Import Car Parts, but it's good to know most of the parts are as UK cars.

If you have an accident in a Spec C I take it the wings, bumpers etc have to come from Japan?

It's irrelevant..... just use normal WRX / STI / Non Turbo stuff.

The glass is lightweight, but who gives a **** if it gets broken..... just refit UK glass.

You SERIOUSLY don't have to concern yourself with it imo.
