Default Got my new cage in... Thoughts.

Got a few pics of my car with the new cage fitted. Went for red in the end.

And one of the car itself, before the cage went in.

Used the photobucket app on my phone so hope they upload.

Really lovely car, but in all honesty these are cosmetic cages and wont really sustain a rolling impact. Mind your bonce driving without a helmet

Not FIA approved, but I think you'll find they A) stiffen the car up and B) would HELP in a roll.

It's more for cosmetic and stiffening reasons over actual roll support. Having said that, I'm sure it would help in the event of a roll even though it isn't FIA approved.
It's a cusco bolt in cage so not cheap crap. Really like the way it sits in the car too, bargain.

Do roll cages not bum the ins up? I assume in the event of an accident, a fairly hefty bump to the head could be on the cards.

Traders policy for me fella as I own quite a few cars. Doesn't matter what mods I add to it, policy doesn't change.
Your right about the 'bump on the head', think I'm gonna fit some foam around the front roof bar.

Looks sweet, roll cage padding is easy enough to come by off flea bay. Looks like you`r gonna have some sound deadeing to remove from the floor, awefull job, but weighs a ton and does tidy the indide up once done.

You don`t have to risk your life or car on a track in a road car though
