Not selling one but a lady at work is, 12mths MOT, 4 mths tax,no issues with it.

In the cheltenham area

not a bad price i thought, thought they were worth £3-£4k

think you answered your own question!!

could be a rot box though! but might have the PPP kit on it also

if it was good one you could borrow 2k, then sell it for bit more than 2k then pay back the 2k and keep the profit for xmas pressies!

Yeah i know something always pops up when you are skint
Yeah coz shes an RB5 (Richard Burns) special edition. They are probably worth a bit more now that Richard Burns is no longer with us, same as the colin mcrae ones are now worth a little more.

2k is a good price, wouldn't pay more for an rb5 over a good uk turbo mind, few different parts but nothing special, still a good price, maybe a grand or so under priced if it has some history.

I'd buy that car if the miles are decent and has got some service history. If you like, send me her number or even give mine to her, 07795504070.
Thanks, Matt.

The RB5 uses the STI bodyshell IIRC.

No folding rear seats because of the rear bulkhead.

Same bodyshell as any other Impreza... There is no special about a STI bodyshell.

That's as maybe but the RB5 definutely had a solid rear bulkhead that the UK cars did not have. I thought it was the STI body shell, but obvously not... it was however stiffer than the UK body shell.

Correct. My V5 does but you still have the holes etc to fit the seats. But £2k for an RB5 is a very keen price.

that is cheap as long as there are no major problems, could be a forced sale, bargain all the same.

Its not stiffer, its the exact same bodyshell on any 4 door classic Impreza, even the non turbo model has the same shell but without the fender braces fitted as standard. The only difference if the car is fitted with solid back seats is a brace between the two inner wheelarsches to support the back seats.

Do you really think a car company like Subaru would do different bodyshells for different versions of the same model..?

I bet you are one of those guys that belive that a Type R or RA has thinner glass, alloy panels etc as well, well they dont. :P Only alloy bonnet, but that was off topic.

It has a solid rear bulkhead welded in at the factory hence techincally it's a different bodyshel and it IS stiffer. Stop tryng to be smart when you are obviously not and moreover are also wrong.

Well no actually, but I bet you are one of those geeks who can remember every model variant and probably has the Subaru logo tattooed on your **** assuming it's big enough.

Now f**k off and annoy someone else !!

let me clear this matter up.

The RB5 had a bespoke bodyshell with a solid rear bulkhead, hence no folding rear seats. It was much stiffer than any other impreza available at that time. FACT.

Maybe you don't know quite as much as you think Oskar about different models. Please feel free to research the RB5 for your own satisfaction. If you require and more infomation regarding any model of impreza then please PM me and i'll be more than happy to help you.

Please show me the difference, this is from my car, a 2000 GT Turbo (same as a UK Turbo2000:

I am still pretty sure they are the same bodyshell, i have seen stripped STI shells and i have never noticed any difference at all, so please let me know the difference other than the brace i mentioned in my earlier post...

Even if they had different shells, i dont see how a RB5 witch is a special edition of a UK Turbo would have a STI shell, i bet they would not even be approved in europe as they would be a JDM shell then, but as i said i dont thik they are different anyway..

Edit: saw your post about the alloy boot, i think that sums it up; you are both talking ****. And my dick is 17cm long, 6,7 inches with your gay measurement.

The first Impreza STI had aluminium bonnet and boot lid, that is also fact chaps. Along with large ( huge infact ) boot spoiler and it kept the fog lamps instead of covers like the later STI's. It also came without gold wheels, silver split rims instead.

Oskar, i don't have any pictures of the inside of an RB5. Ill have a root around and see what i can find. The actual bodyshell is ( to look at ) the same. Its just the rear bulk head was solid.
