You have to warranty the car, but don't have to go through a third party warranty company for it. Just if it breaks you fix it out your own pocket/business.

As stated above I have a lot of faith in the JDM engines. Most ppl who buy jap spec cars are enthusiasts. And most enthusiasts maintain their cars to a very high standard.

They won't be worth the paper there written on. They only offer good service to the main dealers which cover everything.

If your worried about a warranty i would'nt buy a spec c or a JDM car. You will also most likely invalidate your warranty when you start moding.

3rd party warranties are worthless as Juggers says ... they'll take your money of course never pay out due to the small print. If you buy from a stealer you'll normally get some comeback from them as stated when you buy eg 6 or 12 months. Just get the car well inspected & you'll be fine.
