Default ecu advice

My mate has a wrx wagon (auto) 1994,he has put a decat on yesterday and was wondering if he can put a z4 ecu with chip in his car and would it effect it as its auto?

unless its a chip for a tdo4 turbo on a z4 ecu board then it wont work.

yes it will be fine just make sure you run it with the td05.

he was on about a z4 with a polar performance chip,told him to get a power fc or simtek but he doesnt want to spend to much lol

he would be better off with a esl live remap board this will get the most from the car, although it will run and should go fairly well with the polar chipped z4

will let him know the different options he can go for,think he will go for the cheapest which will be the z4 lol

if he doesn't want to spend too much he has bought the wrong car mate. tell him to go buy a Polo diesel

haha exactly my thought
he has had non turbo subarus and this is his first turbo,doubt he has it for to long as every time iv seen him in the car,the fuel needle is near enough touching the bottom lol
