Best trackday tyres in the wet ??

Default Best trackday tyres in the wet ??

Does anyone have any recommendations for wet trackday tyres for a 2006 Spec C

For mortals on a limited budget I'd suggest a premium (Goodyear/Toyo etc) road tyre. 888s do work in the wet as long as the track is not awash when they can give you a fright.

I have used Bridgestone 050's on track before in damp conditions, weren't too bad, anything were it is wet some T1r's will do the job you are just not going to be going as fast as you will be when its dry.

I've found Eagle F1 (not the asymmetric version) to be good, not so impressed with the T1Rs on my car at the moment

I had T1r's on mine at brands this year
outperformed my expectations
and very cheap too
get yours from maggs at ruislip tyre service

I have heard that the vredsteins (think thats how you spell it!) sessantas are very good in the wet

Look out for some Touring car wets, theres always some on ebay
