I am thinking of buying this- Subaru : !!very nice impreza!!

What do you guys think to it? What sort of cash is it worth and what do you think to the modifications and engine rebuild its had etc. Also what do I need to be looking out for when viewing this car?

Who did the rebuild, what parts were used and what type of turbo is it ?

 

Mmm running a 3.5inch system and no cat in the up pipe without getting a re-map, Not a good idea

Pricey for that age/milage. Got my 2002 bug wrx (52 plate) 44k on the clock, fssh, totally unmolested (safest bet), tracker/alarm, in prestine condition for less than 6k!

Its a bit pricey for a 52 plate wrx,if it were the sti then it may have been worth a look.

 

Am i right in thinking that this car has a reconditioned td04,if so will really struggle to make 300 bhp,unless its a hybrid. I personally would not spend 6.5k on 8 yr old wrx,far better off buying an sti imho.

 

Worth 5k: absolute tops

 

plus, its not exactly 'very nice' either....
