Default Rear wheel drive conversion......possible?

Hi all,
if I don't sell my car in the next two weeks I am keeping it but then it's getting serious.
I want to know if it's possible to convert to rear wheel drive?

I have heard rumours of people just disconnecting the front drive whether true or not....
But I mean a full conversion with 100 percent of power driving the rear wheels.what would I need to do if it's possible at all?
Obviously I am not looking to do it on a temporary basis as an experiment.I want it to be able to work properly and safely without killing the drivetrain after a month.
What do you reckon?

1. You are putting double the BHP through the rear diff & driveshafts.
2. The suspension is set-up for 4WD.
3. There is one already done on ebay...
4. Good luck ! & stock up on driveshafts....

Don't bother. It can be done easily enough, but if RWD is what you want you'd be far better off chopping your Impreza in for a 3-series than going forward with this idea.

I had a 3 series but it just couldn't make enough power.231 hp standard and 4.5 grand to supercharge it.wasn't worth it so I bought a Scooby.beginning to change my mind now though.think I will save up for a td05 and 550cc injectors etc.keep it 4 wheel drive.
Unless someone wants to swap for a 200sx s14a?
