on my my02 sti it had gearbox cradle dropped (basicaly to lower gearbox) so could get access to top of box,then theres just enough room to undo nut of the sensor and replace,more tricky than hard i think,i paid £40 so not too bad,only trouble is it never sorted my problem,oh well lol,hth

looks like the famous engine management light issue
so far ive changed...............
plugs

neutral position switch
and it still says i have a misfire on cylinder 2, i cant hear no misfire.....

Been told by 2 mappers the neutral switch is causing probs

just get it done then mate as said its not too hard to do and may sort it out for you,have heard that when mapping at high speeds the ecu thinks its in neutral,i just had error code 0304 missfire on 4 come on a million times,lol.it really did my head in but had it switched of and ok sinse.
