i will be fitting my fp green turbo and 76mm samco inlet this week i hope can anyone tell me if i will need manifold spacers to put in and if i do does this change anything about the seating of the injectors
any help appreciated

Not having fitted an FP Green I cannot tell you if it is possible without manifold spacers but it would certainly be easier. Infact if your inlet is actually 76 diameter I don't see how you can get it to fit without spacers but you do not give us model or year etc.
The spacers have absolutely nothing to do with the seating of injectors.
Spacers are available from Carl Davey or Roger Clark Motor Sport.

 

Hi mate have got a FP green aswell as the APS turbo inlet pipe which is a 76mm aluminium pipe on my bugeye STi, I fitted the spacers at the same time so am not sure about the fitting without them. You don't say what model you are fitting to, I have FMIC, 650cc injectors, APS parrallel injector kit, uprated fuel pump, adjustable FPR, GEMS ECU and at Christmas fitted a APS 3.5 inch bore de-cat exhaust. A week last Monday had the GEMS tweaked to a nice 416 bhp at 97k miles, once the mapper "Steve Simpson" saw the mileage he would not go any further even though I did get him to push it a bit further to get the 416 bhp. Goodluck fitting it and keep us informed of what figures you get.

 

cheers guys i forgot in all my excitement to mention its a v3 jdm sti i got fmic full forged engine etc just getting the funds together for some 850cc injectors 360 ste how do u find the green on ur car and is it a 2.0l or a 2.5 as mine is 2 cheers for posting

 

do you have the oil fitting kit with the green anychance of a picture if so?

 

Mine is a 2 litre I suppose that because it is a slightly bigger turbo there is a bit more lag, but as like you I have a FMIC so we are used to it and drive accordingly. The turbo has been on for over a year now and have no complaints I am currently running 650 cc injectors so will have to see what duration they are at to see if I will need to uprate them.
Have you done the parrallel fuel rail mod?

APS Turbo Inlet Pipe

This is the intake pipe I fitted to mine. No mention of needing spacers.

 

Different cars have different requirements and the APS turbo inlet pipe above will not fit a version 1 or 2 Scooby and it is not intended for that, hence no mention of inlet spacers. Not sure on the model or year but generally manifold spacers either 20mm or 10mm will make the job far easier.
