Default Fill Holes Ideas?

Hi All,

I have just got a replacement bumper for my 06 STI Hawkeye.
The problem is, the previous owner drilled four holes along the bottom part where the lower cut out is and four across the black plastic under the numberplate area. The bumper is the correct colour etc. And y ideas what I can use to cover or fill the holes as I dont want to have the whole bumper repainted etc.

you can buy filler from any motorfactors for a couple of quid . mix it up apply it to the holes and then sand and paint the areas .

an option anyways

What about the black plactic? Painting is an issue because you can not use normal spray paint as it reacts with the original paint and causes it to bubble up :0(

I think it had something like the Zunsprts ones but I want it to look more like original.
For the painted bit thats drilled, I was wondering if there was a good sticker I could fit to cover the holes or if I knew what type of paint to use that doesnt react with the original paint.

Sounds like it had a zunsport grille fitted. 4x 5mm holes in the bottom and 4 screw holes along the top.

Most motorfactors sell bumper repair putty, should do the job nicely.

I've seen some with a subaru sticker on the front lip. Or put a vinyl number plate on there.

you need to the top ones if you fit the bottom one as it would look odd with just the bottom one?

oooooohhhhh not I take it back, that does look good! but lookind at the pic, the grill is set a little back than the black part of the bumper above it. the grille that was fitted was fitted foreward of it so the holes are about 5 mm foreward of where that grill would sit :0(

You need to find some oem grills for the top. They'll be cheaper than the zunsport ones.

just get the matching grille for the bottom or it will look a right mess with some dodgy stickers lashed across the bottom. If you have gone to the cost and trouble of getting a new bumper then at least do it properly lol

I'd be tempted to get some small round decals made as close to the paint colour as possible and stick them over the holes.
